For this guide, we will need the Coinbase app and Base app.
Step 1
First, we need to open the Coinbase app. Then we need to go to the Assets section and select your Ethereum. After that, press Send.
If you don't have any Ethereum yet, you can buy some within the Coinbase app by simply searching "ETH" in the search bar.
Step 2
Now we need to open the Base app to get our receiving address.
Press the Receive button. Press the copy button where it says Ethereum address.
Step 3
Now head back to Coinbase and paste your address.
Select Ethereum (or Base if you plan to use your ETH on Base network).
Input the amount you want to send and press Preview.
At this point it may ask you where you're sending your ETH to, either Self-custody wallet, or Exchange. In this case we will select Self-custody wallet.
It may also ask who you're sending ETH to, you can check the Sending to myself box and it will automatically pre-fill your information.
Press Send Now and you're done! You're ETH should arrive in your Base app shortly.
