What is the Fear & Greed Index?
The Crypto Fear & Greed Index is a sentiment analysis tool that measures the emotions driving the cryptocurrency market. It analyzes various data sources to produce a single number from 0 (Extreme Fear) to 100 (Extreme Greed).
The index is based on the principle that extreme fear can present buying opportunities (when prices may be undervalued), while extreme greed may indicate that the market is due for a correction (when prices may be overvalued).

How to Use the Fear & Greed Index
Extreme Fear (0-25)
Opportunity Zone: When others are panicking, it may be a good time to buy. Investors are overly worried, potentially leading to undervalued assets. However, ensure you understand why fear exists—sometimes it's justified.
Fear (25-45)
Cautious Buying: The market is worried but not panicking. Good time for dollar-cost averaging or accumulation strategies. Watch for improving sentiment.
Neutral (45-55)
Wait and Watch: Market sentiment is balanced. No extreme signals either way. Focus on fundamentals and technical analysis rather than sentiment.
Greed (55-75)
Take Partial Profits: Market is getting excited. Consider securing some gains while the sentiment is positive. Don't exit completely but manage risk.
Extreme Greed (75-100)
Danger Zone: FOMO is driving the market. Everyone is euphoric and buying. This often precedes corrections. Strong sell signal—take profits and reduce exposure.
